A Lil plaid skirt

Wearing short skirts is really not my thing. However, looking through my closet I have accumulated quite a few this year, so I must like them. I've been pairing them with leggings, and for me, it makes all the difference! I'm much more comfortable with my legs covered up. I love this wool plaid pleated skirt I got from Piperlime. It's full, poofy and fun to walk in. I really love taking something dressy(like a skirt) and wearing something casual(flat boots) to give it a different vibe. So, these burnout leggings and OTK boots were perfect for this look. If you're like me, and you don't want your legs out for the world to see, try leggings under a mini:)

Muse me

It's December and I'm not bundled up in 17 layers:) In fact, jeans and a T were all I needed today. Who doesn't love a good T shirt and jeans ensemble? This one from Sincerely Jules is so soft and fits perfectly! Not too tight and not too baggy. I really like when I can do a little front or side tuck and still have a flowy fit. I have a few T's from this lovely lady(so far) and I love them. The fabric is just right. Since it was so nice out, I was able to show it off by wearing my furry vest named Thumbelina(yes I name some of my clothes). Also, anytime I get to wear boyfriend jeans I'm happy. I could literally wear this combination everyday of my life! I hope all of you are having a great day.

Cape Fear

For the last couple of years now I've seen all kinds of capes. Short ones, long ones, hoods no hoods. My mom even gave me one of her old ones from the 70's and i love it! However, I've been scared to wear one. I like how they look on others, but I was afraid people might think I was going to a Sherlock Holmes convention!( Let me just say, I LOVE Sherlock Holmes and I would love to go to a convention, but I don't want to look like him). As soon as I saw this absolutely gorgeous Jason Wu cape I knew it was perfect!! The on trend berry/Marsala color and the Lacey details had me drooling. This is the queen B of all capes and I'm so happy to have it! I chose to keep everything else simple and minimal. Black jeans, black booties and a simple clutch. Since the weathers cold but not blistery, this is THE perfect cover up. I'm definitely over my cape fear and loving every minute of it!

Snow Leopard

The leopard print struggle is REAL for me. I notice I wear it pretty much everyday. Whether it's a cuff, scarf, skirt, pants or even socks! Today I went with a sweater in a beautiful grey and white. It's brushed, so it's really soft and cozy(the way I imagine a real leopard to be). There's something so edgy, loud and regal about leopard, but add all these things together and it becomes an amazing neutral! I found this beauty at Ann Taylor Loft and couldn't resist taking it home with me. Threw on my joggers, leather jacket and a jeweled head wrap. I woke up wanting to look like I was going skiing in Vienna, but instead of skis: sky high (comfy) boots:) Haha, the things us girls think about. Even though there was no snow today, I felt fabulous in my casual snow leopard look. Oh, if you ever see anything in this favorite print of mine that you think i'll love, LMK please:) Because obviously I need more!

Warby Parker

Is it weird that I always wished I needed glasses? Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for my good eyesight all my life, but I always thought glasses were cool & smart. My Dr recently advised me to get my eyes checked. While I laughed and called her crazy(in my head) I got a little excited at the possibility of owning my very own prescription glasses!! Then, Warby Parker entered my life and it was PERFECT timing. Not only do they have absolutely amazing frames, but their story is even better. They make high quality glasses for a fraction of the going rate, but that's not even the best part! You buy a pair and they give a pair to someone in need. That fact alone makes me want a Astigmatism so I can shop till I drop!! But don't fret, all my 20/20 vision friends, Warby Parker has sunglasses:) So we can still experience this awesome company and look hot in our designer frames. Win win! Oh, their at home try on process is so cool. 5 frames for 5 days for free! Need I say more?
