Asymmetrical

Who doesn't love a little uneven hemline? I know I do! Especially when it takes an already beautiful sweater to a whole nother level. It's being added to my pile of favorites for this Fall. The black & grey color keeps it easy, while the asymmetrical hemline makes it edgy. I feel like I'm secretly a rock star or in a cool biker club sometimes, so, I always welcome a little edge (or imperfection) to my outfits;) I put on my super comfy bright red leggings and black booties to complete my look. Black, red and grey is one of my all time favorite color combos. It's classic, but also very now and modern. I love it because I'm irregular, just like my hemline:)

Boho chic!

This boho dress is another goodie from Sale Diem. If you guys haven't checked them out yet, do it now!! There's all kinds of great quality and on trend things to choose from. My favorite part is that all these great items are discounted. All you have to do is sign up(its free!!) and you get IN on all these amazing daily sales. I love a good bohemian look every now and then, so when I saw this dress, I knew I needed it! This is the kind of dress that can be worn all four seasons, just by switching out shoes and accessories. Since its Fall, I pulled out my cognac colored boots and my cozy faux fur vest. With the sun shining and this lovely outfit on, I felt like a true bohemian. Which, by definition means: a person, musician, artist or writer who lives a free spirited life and believes in truth, freedom and love. Don't you love how clothes can make us feel so many things? Sounds good to me:) Thanks Sale Diem!

Sweater weather

Sweater weather is here. Finally! It's my favorite time of year, fashion wise. Thanks to my friends over at Sale Diem I got my hands on this scrumptious hoody(it sells out fast! so sign up immediately after reading this to order yours). It's soft with a cozy and relaxed fit. The fact that there's a hood, makes it a MUST have for the temperamental Fall weather. Today, I paired this oversized goody(hoody:)) with a fitted leather skirt and some fringed out booties. Leggings, jeans, and even shorts would work too. This pretty nuetral shade makes it easy to wear with everything! Also, I'm LOVING the 3/4 length sleeves. Perfect for those moments when you're not freezing, AND, for showing off gorgeous cuffs, watches, bracelets, etc. This sweater is a winner in every way. Love it!

Flawsome of the month

My flawsome for October is: running. Just a quick point...(When I'm writing my flawsome posts I'm usually in the midst of trying to encourage myself. So, my hope is to also encourage you, and help you(us) feel better). I'm careful not to hate anything, but, running is something that I honestly 100% HATE doing. This is what happens every single time I go. I get excited to wear a cute outfit and look tough! I make a dope playlist, tuck my earbuds in just so(wires under my right shoulder strap), my hair is up in a sweet ponytail and I'm ready to become Lolo Jones honey;) Sure enough, 30 seconds in, I'm DONE! Self doubting, bored, thinking of how silly I must look(Phoebe from friends) how my fats bouncing, how I'm surely going to have an asthma attack, and above all, how much I HATE RUNNING!!! So, this summer and now fall, I decided to try something different. I placed a goal at the end of my runs. I signed up for every 5k and 7k I could get my hands on. Knowing I was running for a good cause and being around others, pumped me up! My focus shifted. I didn't care how I looked, I cared about finishing, and each time finishing stronger. At this point I can honestly say, I still hate running(haha), however, I'm proud of myself. I continue to get out of my comfort zone, and while this isn't helping my knees, it's helping my mind and I love that. Oh, I have also found wearing bright bold lipstick helps!!! For real. Finally feeling Flawsome about this:)

Leopard Love

It's no secret that I LIVE for leopard print. There's never not a time where this print isn't absolutely perfectly appropriate. No other pattern can be both exciting AND neutral at the same time. None! I have so much of it in my closet, and I continue to keep adding more. I got these amazing pieces on a recent trip to H&M. The skirt is a lovely thick fabric, perfect for the cold weather heading my way. I love pencil skirts, but don't wear them much because I don't have hips to fill them(my hipless sisters understand). So, I usually end up looking super straight! But this fabric makes me feel a tad curvier, which I always welcome. The T is nice and light weight, and the leggings are more substantial than the usual fabric. My favorite detail is the scalloped effect on the bottom, making them dressier:) And, grey is such a chic color. I'm in leopard love. (I suggest going into H&M, the site isn't showing a couple of my pieces, and I just got them)
