Boho chic!

This boho dress is another goodie from Sale Diem. If you guys haven't checked them out yet, do it now!! There's all kinds of great quality and on trend things to choose from. My favorite part is that all these great items are discounted. All you have to do is sign up(its free!!) and you get IN on all these amazing daily sales. I love a good bohemian look every now and then, so when I saw this dress, I knew I needed it! This is the kind of dress that can be worn all four seasons, just by switching out shoes and accessories. Since its Fall, I pulled out my cognac colored boots and my cozy faux fur vest. With the sun shining and this lovely outfit on, I felt like a true bohemian. Which, by definition means: a person, musician, artist or writer who lives a free spirited life and believes in truth, freedom and love. Don't you love how clothes can make us feel so many things? Sounds good to me:) Thanks Sale Diem!

Sweater weather

Sweater weather is here. Finally! It's my favorite time of year, fashion wise. Thanks to my friends over at Sale Diem I got my hands on this scrumptious hoody(it sells out fast! so sign up immediately after reading this to order yours). It's soft with a cozy and relaxed fit. The fact that there's a hood, makes it a MUST have for the temperamental Fall weather. Today, I paired this oversized goody(hoody:)) with a fitted leather skirt and some fringed out booties. Leggings, jeans, and even shorts would work too. This pretty nuetral shade makes it easy to wear with everything! Also, I'm LOVING the 3/4 length sleeves. Perfect for those moments when you're not freezing, AND, for showing off gorgeous cuffs, watches, bracelets, etc. This sweater is a winner in every way. Love it!

Flawsome of the month

My flawsome for October is: running. Just a quick point...(When I'm writing my flawsome posts I'm usually in the midst of trying to encourage myself. So, my hope is to also encourage you, and help you(us) feel better). I'm careful not to hate anything, but, running is something that I honestly 100% HATE doing. This is what happens every single time I go. I get excited to wear a cute outfit and look tough! I make a dope playlist, tuck my earbuds in just so(wires under my right shoulder strap), my hair is up in a sweet ponytail and I'm ready to become Lolo Jones honey;) Sure enough, 30 seconds in, I'm DONE! Self doubting, bored, thinking of how silly I must look(Phoebe from friends) how my fats bouncing, how I'm surely going to have an asthma attack, and above all, how much I HATE RUNNING!!! So, this summer and now fall, I decided to try something different. I placed a goal at the end of my runs. I signed up for every 5k and 7k I could get my hands on. Knowing I was running for a good cause and being around others, pumped me up! My focus shifted. I didn't care how I looked, I cared about finishing, and each time finishing stronger. At this point I can honestly say, I still hate running(haha), however, I'm proud of myself. I continue to get out of my comfort zone, and while this isn't helping my knees, it's helping my mind and I love that. Oh, I have also found wearing bright bold lipstick helps!!! For real. Finally feeling Flawsome about this:)

Leopard Love

It's no secret that I LIVE for leopard print. There's never not a time where this print isn't absolutely perfectly appropriate. No other pattern can be both exciting AND neutral at the same time. None! I have so much of it in my closet, and I continue to keep adding more. I got these amazing pieces on a recent trip to H&M. The skirt is a lovely thick fabric, perfect for the cold weather heading my way. I love pencil skirts, but don't wear them much because I don't have hips to fill them(my hipless sisters understand). So, I usually end up looking super straight! But this fabric makes me feel a tad curvier, which I always welcome. The T is nice and light weight, and the leggings are more substantial than the usual fabric. My favorite detail is the scalloped effect on the bottom, making them dressier:) And, grey is such a chic color. I'm in leopard love. (I suggest going into H&M, the site isn't showing a couple of my pieces, and I just got them)

Houndstooth!

It's that time of year! Plaid and Houndstooth is everywhere, and I love it! I picked up this jumper on a recent trip to Nordstom Rack, which means I scored it at a discounted price(yay). The blue and black color pulled me in immediately. The soft and flowy fabric made me happy, and, the little buttons and pockets on the sides made me fall in love. This is my new go to piece for the fall. I can't wait to wear it a million different ways, by layering, adding boots, kicks, sweaters, etc, etc:) Overalls can be intimidating, believe me I know. I worried initially that I'd look like a 12 year old, but, with the classic print and great fit I felt like a cool adult. Edgy and fashion forward too! Try a pair! Oh, and I'm really liking this brand, WAYF (where are you from).

Altuzarra for Target

I was highly anticipating this line for Target. Once I saw the commercials I knew I NEEDED everything! So, I got up early Sunday morning and braved the crowd. I'm thrilled with my score! These two dresses are so well made, and look even better in person. I managed to get the last two dresses in my size:) which made it all the more special. Also, this black belt is the perfect width, AND, it fits my waist! I can snatch my waist within an inch of my life(which in my book is a good thing), who needs to breath? The deep berry color is so sultry and so gorgeous. It feels really nice on, because the fabric is delicious! The black number with the gold birds is so elegant. This is also classic, but fashion forward with the cut and detail. I hope you were able to get your hands on these lovely designs. It's so nice when high end designers create a more affordable line while staying true to their brand. Run to your nearest Target, Target.com, or Net-a-porter.com.

LBD

I could'nt wait to wear this Bebe dress. I got it during my last trip to the outlet mall near me. Normally I would'nt buy something like this without a specific event to wear it to, but, I've changed my thinking when it comes to that. It always seems when you're looking for something specific, you can never find it, or, its a million dollars. When you're NOT looking, you find amazingly beautiful, perfect pieces and nowhere to wear them! So now I buy, and have things on hand, should the occasion call for it. Especially if its a great price and I love it. This is such a great LBD with a bit of spice! Perfect for date night or girls night. The bright coral exposed zipper and straps sold me on site! Not to mention its a bodycon dress. So, it fits like a glove;)(no need for fancy uncomfortable undergarments) That fact alone is MAJOR for me. My leopard pumps were the perfect partner to this mullet dress(business in the front, party in the back);)
